Cross-sell
You might also love” isn’t just for Netflix
Ideally place it on the PDP underneath the Add to Cart
OR like Heylo in this example and showcase more products in the Cart
They get brownie points for having tiered spend thresholds that turn into gifts too. People would MUCH rather buy more from you and get an exclusive deal than pay delivery
Upsell
This is applicable if you sell pack sizes - showcase an offer if someone adds a 3 pack to the cart to get a limited time discount if they choose the 9 pack
THE TAKE MY MONEY EFFECT

Showing someone an offer AFTER they’ve gone to all the effort of putting their bank details in. The foot in the door technique at its finest 👢
The last thank you page, post-purchase upsell I did converted at 12%!
Yes, it was a good deal on some stock that needed shifting but this was on top of the purchase
You could test 1 of these things by the end of the week and thank me when your AOV goes up next week.
